We had a really wonderful weekend at The Orchard as a large group of friends. The house exceeded expectations; it was well equipped, clean and much bigger than expected. Almost every room had an en suite bathroom and everything worked properly – ovens, heating, hot tub. A big thank you! (and to lovely Suzanne).

What a wonderful venue to spend your 40th! The property is very welcoming and surroundings are idyllic. All
the bedrooms have picturesque views over the local green/the countryside, and the decor is finished to an extremely high spec. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook, or the local takeaways that deliver are not to be missed!

Wanted to give you a note to say that the family had a very enjoyable and memorable return visit to the Orchard.
It was a family get together of 3 generations to celebrate my 60th. The Orchard provided the ideal base for us, and with 3 children under 4 in the group the garden and Hot Tub were extremely well used! We were even able to use the BBQ on the Sunday evening which was super.
You've got the balance and ambiance spot on in our opinion .
A word also for the housekeeper too - she did a great job, was very helpful and friendly.
Many thank again and we could well return again.

Our family gathering at The Orchard was a great success. The accommodation worked very well for the 13 of us. Suzanne, our housekeeper, was excellent. In general, the most frequent comment was, "What a great place for Christmas!" Unfortunately for us, I note you are already booked for the week. Maybe another year?

The house is magnificent. It has been decorated and furnished to a very high and tasteful standard. Even with all bedrooms occupied the house is very tranquil and well sound-proofed. The size and design of the property means you can have social gatherings and break off into quiet spaces on one of the many reception rooms if required. The kitchen and casual dining area is to die for and has a multitude of appliances and facilities available. The bedrooms and bathrooms are all exquisitely decorated, the beds are very comfortable! The large terrace and well kept rear garden provides views of the sprawling Berkshire countryside. Relaxing in the garden's hot tub is a must! Check-in and check-out were uncomplicated, with the housekeeper waiting to provide an overview of the property. You will wish this was your own house!

We had a phenomenal stay at this beautiful house. The photos we saw of the place were great but the home looked even better in person. Our host did a good job and was gracious with us checking out a little later. The facilities were perfect and met all our needs and more. All 8 guests loved the house and didn't want to leave in the end!
We found no faults and had no problems throughout our 4 day stay and highly recommend this place to any large groups looking for a luxurious home in a wonderful location.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Orchard. Everyone thought it was a fantastic house and location to spend Christmas. Do you know the make of the mattress on the bed on the first floor master bedroom? It was so comfortable and I forgot to look before we left!!

Just a short note to thank you and the team for arranging our stay at The Orchard. It was a lovely surprise to see the tree & festive decorations not to mention the mince pies!
The Orchard worked perfectly for our extended family group covering 4 generations & even more countries.
We had a truly international Christmas, entered a team in the Boxing Day games which was great fun & our runners, walkers & cyclist enjoyed exploring the area.
Food & drink at The Jolly Farmer was appreciated by all & it's a pub we'll be back to when in the area again.
Meanwhile for us it's the start of the Hogmanay shenanigans so I'll finish by wishing you & the team every best wish for 2016.

Myself and my family stayed at The Orchard for 8 weeks last October due to a refurbishment project at our house. I wanted to let you know what a wonderful time was had by all. Due to the longevity of the stay, we grew to love the house and the surroundings, the locals are very friendly too, and made us feel very welcome. It felt like a home from home yet finished to such a high standard which can be seen by the exquisite decor throughout the whole property. I would thoroughly recommend this property if you're looking for a week end luxury retreat, family gathering, a special occaison or even for a corporate venue, the property suits all occasions! I would also highly recommend the neighbouring pub with its great gourmet food and very friendly atomsphere.

"The Perfect 50th Celebration" I booked the house to celebrate my 50th with 12 friends - 6 couples. We were greeted on arrival by the charming housekeeper who was so sweet and informative. I was speechless, the house definitely has the wow factor, it is absolutelly stunning, decorated to perfection and spotless. Everything is top quality from furnishings to big soft fluffly bath towels. We had the best time ever. Although it was cold it didn't stop us using the fab hot tub. The village is idilic and lunch at The Chequers was fabulous. I had the best birthday ever in a house that dreams are made of. We will be back!

"Our Stay at The Orchard was exceptional, myself and my family spent a week over Christmas 2014 here - what a perfect place for a wonderful family Christmas, loved by all, especially the dogs! From first contact to departure, the standard and service was above and beyond our expectations. We were spoilt for choice with the bedrooms, out of the six exceptionally decorated bedrooms, we chose to stay on the top floor in one of the luxurious suites offering breath-taking views of Cliveden House. The beautiful decor throughout the entire house did not go unnoticed, it was the perfect location, the views overlooking the Berkshire countryside were splendid, watching the horses having their daily exercise was a perfect start to the day. We will definitely return again! Congratulations for creating something quite special. A fabulous time was had by all, what fond xmas memories we have"
